When I use the GPS shield with arduino code I get the latitude and longitude with 3 decimal points ie 36.806. When I look at the gps latitude and longitude on my phone with the gps app I see 7 decimal places ie 36.8063672. I am using a float variable with the arduino code line: float lat = GPS.getLatitude(); and print out to the terminal shield. The 3 decimal point value is not accurate enough for my project. Is it possible to get better accuracy with the arduino code than 3 decimal points?
Thanks for any help you may offer…
