I am using the TextToSpeech capability, and sometimes my code generates too much to say, and I want it to stop. Is there any way (programmatically) to tell the system to stop talking and forget everything in its queue of things to say (cleardown queue/buffer)?

    Hi,

Once you call the TextToSpeech.say(“wordsToBeSpoken”); it won’t stop saying till it finishes all words. So, just don’t call it if not needed in some code situations.

But may I ask what a situation that you do call it and thought, you want to stop its saying!
