    The 1Sheeld Terminal does not print the newline embedded in the following cstr.
    #define CUSTOM_SETTINGS
    #define INCLUDE_TERMINAL_SHIELD
    #include “OneSheeld.h”
    char cstr[128];
    uint8_t target = 1;
    float fhed = 217.46, fdis 45268412.00;
    OneSheeld.begin();
    sprintf(cstr, “target(%d) \nheading(%s) \ndistance(%s)”, target, String(fhed).c_str(), String(fdis).c_str());
    Terminal.println(cstr);
    Resulting print with no new lines: “target(1) heading(217.46) distance(45268412.00)”

    Hi Richard,

    It has been a while since you last posted us a problem ūüôā , but we are glad you are still performing with 1Sheeld and giving us feedback.

    I had tested the code you attached in your post and yeah it doesn’t work and it seems that the extended characters within a c type array is not handled in the application so let me check out the solution and return back to you ūüėČ .

    Thanks again Richard for your efforts and support and we wish you give us more feedback ūüėČ .

    Students download from your site, so a custom app would not help. ¬†Students attempt to use what they have learned in the degree program for formatting strings, and “\n” is one of them. ¬†Occasionally a student waste time trying to make this work, then ask for help and I tell them it doesn’t. ¬†This is not a big deal, but it would be nice to fix.

    Huge apologies to your student about that fault… it will be fixed next release “u have my word” ūüôā .

    Also let me keep you updated with our progress as we were¬†working hardly the past three¬†months on 1Sheeld for Iphone,¬†We have ¬†got a lot of challenges and barriers to support the Iphone one of them is to get the acceptance from Apple itself on the application”they should be responding in the next few days wish us luck ;-)”¬†and even there are major modifications and enhancements in the new 1Sheeld “Firmware,Application & of course the hardware itself” .

    We just announced the pre-order¬†a month ago”you can check our teaser video on our facebook page¬†or on Youtube¬†:-D” so¬†your students having Iphone will have the chance to get the power of 1Sheeld soon ;-).

    Best Regards to you and all your beloved students,

    1Sheeld Team
